1. Le ɓe Ziova a vɛli-ɓela tolii a gɛɛ di gɛ? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

 WHO we must go to when we want comfort and direction? We know the answer for this question. We can pray to Jehovah God. That just what Jehovah invite us to do. And the Bible say we must “pray constantly.” So we know that he want for us to pray all the time. (1 Thess. 5:17) We free to pray to Jehovah and ask him to guide us in our life. (Prov. 3:​5, 6) Because Jehovah not mean with his time, he say we can pray to him any amount of time we want pray.

2. Le ɓe kwa pai maa-kɔrii zɛŋ-lɛɛi ŋi su?

² We grateful to Jehovah for allowing us to pray to him. But because we get plenty things to do, it can be hard for us to find time to pray. Sometime, we can want improve the way we can pray. We grateful that the Bible can encourage us and direct us. In this article, we will talk about how we can find time to pray by looking at Jesus example. We will also talk about how we can improve the way we can pray by looking at five thing them we can pray about.

3. Le ɓe Zisɛ e kɛ a gɔlɔŋɔɔ e pilaŋ ɣala-fɛliɛ ma?

³ Jesus learn that Jehovah value our prayer. Jesus use to see how his Pa use to answer faithful people prayer long time before he came to earth. For example, Jesus was near his Pa when He answer Hannah, David, Elijah, and plenty other faithful people prayer. (1 Sam. 1:​10,  11, 20; 1 Ki. 19:​4-6; Ps. 32:5) That why Jesus teach his disciple them to pray all the time and trust Jehovah!​—Matt. 7:​7-11.

4. Le ɓe kwa pɔri maa-kɔrii Zisɛ yeei e pilaŋ ɣala-fɛliɛ ma?

⁴ By praying to Jehovah, Jesus set the example for his disciple them to follow. Jesus always use to pray when he was doing his preaching work. He set time to pray because he always use to be busy and plenty people use to be around him. (Mark 6:​31, 45, 46) He use to get up soon in the morning so he can pray by himself. (Mark 1:35) One time, Jesus pray the whole night because he was having important decision to make. (Luke 6:​12, 13) And on the night before Jesus die, he pray over and over for Jehovah to help him go through that hard time in his life on earth.​—Matt. 26:​39, 42, 44.

5. Kwa pɔri Zisɛ pɔɔkɔɔni leŋ kwa kɛ Ɣala fɛlii?

⁵ Jesus example teach us that even when we too busy, we must still set time to pray. Just like Jesus, we must set time to pray. Maybe we can get up soon in the morning or we can do it way in the evening. When we do it, we will show to Jehovah that we grateful for this special gift. One sister name Lynne remember how she was happy the first time she learn that she can pray to Jehovah. She say, “When I learn that I can talk to Jehovah anytime, it help me to see him as my close Friend. It also make me to want improve the way I can pray.” Plenty of us can feel like that too. So now, let talk about five important thing them we can pray about.

6. Yɛɛ berei gaa la Mɛni-lɛɛi 4:​10, 11 sui, le ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi Ziova e zɔlɔ ɓo?

⁶ Praise Jehovah. In one powerful vision, the apostle John saw 24 elders in heaven worshipping Jehovah. They praise God and say, that Him get the right to receive “the glory and the honor and the power.” (Read Revelation 4:​10, 11.) The faithful angel them also get plenty reasons to praise Jehovah. They living in heaven with him and they  know him good-good. They can know his quality them from the things he can do. When they see the thing them Jehovah can do, they can want praise him.​—Job 38:​4-7.

7. Le mɛni ɓe kwa pɔri Ziova laa maa tɛi mɛni mai?

⁷ We want praise Jehovah in our prayer too. We must tell him what we like about him and why we respect him. When you reading and studying the Bible, try to look for Jehovah quality them that you really like. (Job 37:23; Rom. 11:33) Then tell Jehovah how you feel about this quality them. We can also praise Jehovah because he can help us and help all our brother and sister them. He can always take care of us and protect us.​—1 Sam. 1:27; 2:​1, 2.

8. Le ɓa mɛni-ŋuŋ-ŋai taŋa nyii kwa pɔri Ziova sɛɣɛi fei mɛni mai? (1 Tɛsɛloniɛŋ 5:​18)

⁸ Tell Jehovah thank you. We get plenty things we can tell Jehovah thank you for when we praying. (Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18.) We can tell him thank you for all the good-good thing them we get, because every good thing coming from him. (Jas. 1:17) For example, we can tell him thank you for the way the earth fine and all the fine-fine thing them he made. We can also tell him thank you for our life, our family, our friend them, and the hope he gave us. And we want tell Jehovah thank you for letting us to be his friend.

9. Le mɛni ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi ku kɔ la a gbanaŋɔɔ a gɛɛ ku yee-see-mu lɛ Ziova mai?

⁹ We need to really fight hard to think on the reasons why we must be grateful to Jehovah. We living in the world where plenty people can’t say thank you. Most of the time, they can only focus on what they want instead of saying thank you for the thing them they get. If we follow that example, we will just be asking Jehovah for things in our prayer. To stop that one from happening, we must continue trying hard to be grateful and show it by telling Jehovah thank you for everything he can do for us.​—Luke 6:45.

10. Sɛɣɛi fe e kpɔŋ maa tɛɛ leŋ sisɛ ta pɔ a gɛɛ e tɔɔ a gbanaŋɔɔ mɛni-kpanaŋ su? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

¹⁰ When we grateful, it can help us go through hard time. Let look at the experience about Kyung-sook, that in the January 15, 2015, Watchtower. She get to know that she was having serious lung cancer. She say: “My health problem really discourage me. I felt that I was not having any hope, and I was really scary.” Wetin help her to go through this problem? She say that every night before she go to bed, she can find quiet area in her house and pray loud. She can pray and tell Jehovah thank you  for five thing them for that day. This one make her to not worry too much. And it also help her to show love for Jehovah. She experience how Jehovah can help his faithful servant them when they going through serious problems. She also got to know that plenty good-good thing them can happen in our life more than the problem them we can face. Like Kyung-sook, we get plenty reasons to tell Jehovah thank you, even if we going through problem. When we tell Jehovah thank you in our prayers, it can help us to go through our problem them and still be happy.

11. Zisɛ liɛ ɣala-taai polu ma, le mɛni ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi kɛ sɛɣɛi fe e kɛ la polu-ɓela yeei?

¹¹ Ask Jehovah to be brave when you preaching. Just before Jesus went to heaven, he remind his disciple them about their assignment to preach. He said they will preach about him “in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the most distant part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8; Luke 24:46-48) It not stay long, the big-big Jewish people arrest the apostles Peter and John. They carry them to the big court in Jerusalem. They told Peter and John to stop preaching, and they even threaten them. (Acts 4:​18, 21) Wetin Peter and John do?

12. Yɛɛ berei gaa la Dikɛ-mɛni-ŋai 4:​29, 31 sui, le ɓe Zisɛ polu-ɓela di gɛi?

¹² Peter and John answer them by saying, ‘Whether it right in God eye to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves. But for us, we can’t stop talking about the thing them we na see and hear.’ (Acts 4:19, 20) When they free Peter and John, the disciple them pray to Jehovah about doing His will. They say in their prayer: “Grant to your slaves to keep speaking your word with all boldness.” Jehovah answer their prayer.—Read Acts 4:​29, 31.

13. Le ɓe kwa pɔri maa-kɔrii Jin-hyuk ŋɔmɛni-kɔɔŋ-maai su?

¹³ We can follow the disciple them example by continuing to preach even when the government say we must stop. Let look at the example of one brother name Jin-hyuk, who they put in jail because he refuse to join the army. The time he was in jail, they assign him to be carrying food and some other things to the prisoner them. They told him to not talk about the Bible but only the thing them the prisoners need. He use to pray to be brave and to preach on every opportunity he was having. (Acts 5:29) He say: “Jehovah answer my prayer. He help me to be brave and wise to start plenty five-minute Bible studies right to the jail house door. Then in the night, I use to write letters so that I can give them to the prisoner them the next day.” We too can be convince that Jehovah will help us to do the preaching work. Like Jin-hyuk, we can pray to be brave and wise.

14. Le ɓe a pɔri kpɔnii kua kwa kɛ tɛɛi mɛni-kpanaŋ-ŋa su? (Ŋule-wooi 37:​3, 5)

¹⁴ Pray to Jehovah to help you go through your problem them. Plenty of us suffering because of sickness, somebody die from us, family problem, persecution or some other problem them. And other thing them like wars and sickness that can spread around the world, can make it really hard for us  to bear our problem them. Tell Jehovah everything that in your heart. Tell him about your problem just how you will tell your best friend. Be convince that Jehovah “will act in your behalf.”​—Read Psalm 37:​3, 5.

15. Ɣala-fɛliɛ a pɔri kpɔnii leŋ kua a gɛɛ ‘ku kulii kpele mɛni-kpɔlu su’? Gɔɔŋ-maa lɛ.

¹⁵ When we continue to pray, it will help us to go through our problem them. (Rom. 12:12) Jehovah know what his people going through and “he can hear their cry for help.” (Ps. 145:​18, 19) One 29-year-old pioneer name Kristie agree with this one. She start facing serious health problem that she was not expecting. Because of that, she was feeling really-really bad. On top of that one, she got to know that her ma was having sickness that she was coming die from. Kristie say: “I really pray to Jehovah to give me the strength to go through my problem them every day. I try to always stick to my schedule to worship Jehovah by going to meetings and doing personal study.” Then she say: “Prayer help me to go through the hard time I was facing. I knew that Jehovah was always there for me. Thinking like that really comfort me. Even though I not get better right away, but Jehovah answer my prayer by giving me peace and making my heart to lay down.” Yes, we must never forget that “Jehovah knows how to rescue people of godly devotion out of trial.”​—2 Pet. 2:9.

16. Le mɛni ɓe kwa ŋwɛli la a kpɔŋ maa Ziova yeei kwa kɛ tɛɛ sukɔɔŋ su?

¹⁶ Pray to Jehovah to help you fight against temptation. Because we not perfect, we must always fight the temptation to do bad things. Satan doing everything to make it hard for us. One way he can spoil our thinking that  by using bad entertainment. Entertainment like that can make us to think on so-so bad thing them. That bad thinking can make us to not be clean in Jehovah eye and it can make us to commit serious sin.​—Mark 7:​21-23; Jas. 1:​14, 15.

17. Kwa pɔri siai leŋ a kuɣala-fɛli-wooi a gɛɛ ku tɔɔ a gbanaŋɔɔ sukɔɔŋ su? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

¹⁷ If we want overcome the temptation to do bad thing, we need Jehovah help. In the model prayer, Jesus say something about temptation. He say: “Do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the wicked one.” (Matt. 6:13) Jehovah want help us, but we must ask him for his help. When we pray to Jehovah for help, we must do our best to stay away from anything that will make us to sin. We must fight hard to not read and listen to the bad ideas that in Satan world. (Ps. 97:10) We can put good-good thing them in our head by reading and studying the Bible. Going to meeting and preaching will also help to protect our thinking. And Jehovah tell us that he will not let temptation to come on us that he know we not able.​—1 Cor. 10:​12, 13.

18. A pa ɣala-fɛliɛ ma, le ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi ku kelee ku gɛ?

¹⁸ All of us need to pray to Jehovah more than ever before. It will help us remain faithful to Jehovah during this last days that full of hard time. Jehovah want us to pray to him and tell him everything that in our heart. (Ps. 62:8) Find time every day to pray to Jehovah from your heart. Praise Jehovah and tell him thank you for all the thing them he can do. When you preaching, pray so that you can be brave. Beg him to help you go through any problems and fight against any temptation you facing. Don’t let anything or anybody to stop you from always praying to Jehovah. But how Jehovah can answer our prayer them? We will talk about this important question in the next article.
