1. Ɛ-lɔ-lɛ nee a-bo-ta-ne
Ɛ-nee le Gyi-sɛs’ su-ba-ne.
Ɔ-lua-le nyɛ-leɛ zo
Ɔ-boa-le yɛ dɔɔnwo.
Ɔ-nyia-nle yɛ nwo a-la-gye.
Ɔ-boa-le mɔɔ bɛ-mbu ye la,
Ɔ-yɛ-le me-nli a-yi-le.
Ɔ-yɛ-le ye gyi-ma nɔ-ha-lɛ nu
Na ɔ-ha-nle kɛ: “Me-ku-lo.”
2. Yɛ-ku-lo kɛ yɛ-su-koa ye
Na yɛ-di ɔ gya-kɛ a-nzi.
Yɛ-maa me-nli nwu kɛ
Yɛ-lɛ ɛ-lɔ-lɛ;
Yɛ-ki-le bɛ nɔ-ha-lɛ ne.
Yɛ gɔnwo mɔ kyi-a yɛ-boa bɛ;
Yɛ-ku-lo bɛ kpo-le kpa-lɛ.
A-hu-nla-nv’lɛ nee nri-sa ba-hyia wɔ,
Boa bɛ na ka kɛ: “Me-ku-lo.”
