The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was released in the Maya language on October 25, 2019, in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. On the same day, the New World Translation was released in the Telugu language in Hyderabad, India, and in the Tzotzil language in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico. The New World Translation has been translated in whole or in part into 185 languages.
